he wrote..."I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping, while my guitar gently weeps" it does & now we do
all things must pass, and yet, it's harder to let go of some.....

There'll come a time when all of us must leave here
Then nothing sister Mary can do
Will keep me here with you
As nothing in this life that I've been trying
Could equal or surpass the art of dying
Do you believe me?

There'll come a time when all your hopes are fading
When things that seemed so very plain
Become an awful pain
Searching for the truth among the lying
And answered when you've learned the art of dying

But you're still with me
But if you want it
Then you must find it
But when you have it
There'll be no need for it

There'll come a time when most of us return here
Brought back by our desire to be
A perfect entity
Living through a million years of crying
Until you've realized the Art of Dying
Do you believe me?

George Harrison

I read this entire post, nice thoughts.

*a friend called me to tell me of the news (I've been boycotting CNN)It made me feel fortunate to have seen him, with Ravi, (1974)and we had REAL good seats.....(Providence Civic Center)

***Death is but the next great adventure. And I'm sure George is, doing just that!!!

*Apple Scruffs, to George, and may you and John, do something up there to 'Give Peace A Chance'? Or wake 'God' up from his vacation.

Very nice thoughts. I hope he's in a good place right now and that when we get there we all get good seats.

My guitar is gently weeping.

We love you George! Peace reigns within, without you.

Say hi to John for us when you get home.

I heard the news out on the road, seldom do I get the radio very well but I do listen to George and the boys while I drive and I just hope that where ever he is now, there will be Beatles fans there to greet him.

I got this in an e-mail. Georges family wants you to stop & have a moment of prayer or meditation in memory of him at either 4:20 Or 4:30 this afternoon...

Just read that the moment of meditation yesterday was about the time George's ashes were to be sprinkled into the Ganges.
