I admit it, I am an unrepentant Earthling, there I said it....I feel so much better now? Even if you don't see the water as skillfully as a blind person, bring your jug down to the river and dip it in. (That Rumi, he cracks me up)

That is what we do, go down to the river, dip our jug in, and make the best of it. That defines life here on Planet Earth.

The thing about dead roads is you either crash into the abyss or find a new path.

So insightful. Right now he is a frightened boy who has crashed off the road into an abyss, without teather to anything familiar, fighting to find hold, fighting the fear of uncertainty and isolation from his peers, wondering where they are/ why have they seemingly abandond him. The pain he's going through is unbearable to watch, and the cruel ironic twist is the crimial suit will be followed by a civil one for emotional damages.

New path is not yet in sight, but the search and rescue mission ( lawyers and therapists) is underway.

And remember, crisis provides unimaginable opportunities for positive growth and meaningful change. The Chinese represent the concept of crisis using two characters: the first symbolizes danger, the second opportunity. The two conditions are inseparable.

Sometimes words can just sound so meaningless no matter how hard you try to fill them with compassion. Strength and love are about the only words I can say when moments in time need to fade but remain all to real. Once health is reestablished then love and understanding is the key.

time is generally involved with healing, but i don't think i could call it a heal all?
