Hi Dave,
Merry Christmas and Happy Everything!
While I'm here, what's the easiest way for me to manipulate a photo I want to upload (attach to a post)? It tells me the file size is too large (must be no more than 251 mb). I tried messing with Gimp, can't really figure it out. Remember, I'm not really all that technically challenged, just technically ignorant :?

Thanks in advance, K

If you just want to quick resize an image, here is a site that will do it for free and it is automated:

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

That's where I do mine..

If you are on a Mac, give Graphic Converter a try!

Not on a Mac :( I looked at the program Jafo suggested, but it's Greek to me. Sooner or later I figure these things out, like enough monkeys with enough pencils and paper will eventually rewrite Shakespeare  So it goes........Thanks anyway :D

I'll have to check those out. I use Irfanview as that is the easiest for me to use.

If you have Microsoft Office, there is a Microsoft Tools, then go to: Micorsoft Picture Manager. You have to link your picture (left side bar), open it, then go to: picture ("bearbeiten=German") ??? (it is on the top bar, you can do changes with the picture there), then go to: change size (right bar). Here you can minimize your picture for documents, e.mails, etc.
Hope I was confusing enough :D

 Dang! I got so busy tryin' to figure out how to make my picture miracle itself from a gadzillion Kb into whatever the site says it's gotta be I plumb forgot about the picture itself! It's currently confounding me, but to be honest I haven't had the cotton-pickin' time to "learn and practice" much and/or enough.

I'll get right on it (the pictures of my dear and sweet Ms. Taylor). Know what? I even got other pictures of stuff. This could open up a whole new dimension to my life -- manipulating and transforming a a bunch of digitalized information to conform with.......I would guess some limit of storage capacity? And there's always that sharing thing. :D

Like I said, I'll get it to you right away like next year!

I think you have SPAM in the Folkslinger Spottings forum, last entry by Jorgea. The verbiage starts approximately 12 inches from the top of reply posting box.

I noticed that too. I think I saw where they had a legit post on here so I wonder if they were hacked. If so they will want to change their password.
