okay- every couple of months something random and bizarre and completely trivial strikes me as obsession worthy, for whatever reason-

for several years:
yams were at the forefront of that obsession; nutritionists and herbalists (not THAT kind of herb) agree, the yam is the perfect food
a small tribal culture in new guinea also once (still does? my info is not clear) worshiped the yam for its regenerative properties, and let's not forget about its current resurfacing mythology as a way to naturally increase breast size, (although, i am quite content with the size of my own - they don't need any help making it difficult to jog (ahem)

this week i have discovered the smilie
