3.520 miles, 14 days of a dream trip!!! Stella & i are confirmed Miata fans. It purred like a kitten the whole trip ( I'll still save for a MINI, but re-thinking whether it'll be a cabriolet... I wanna keep the Miata!!!)...many thanks to Ceashel & Cliffite 4 their gracious hospitality.
I shan't ramble on about the trip, except 2 say.. Ft Laud, to Orlando, to French 1/4, Nawleens to Dallas, to Taos to Sedona, to Poway.. wowie! just imagine..! w/ top down 75% of the way.. not mine, the Miata's...
RHC & SLG, so sorry I missed you, @ Epcot, a dear friend needed me close by, in Pomp Bch..more soon.. thanks for all those "safe journey" Blundervibes, they worked.. Mangos till later gotta shake up SD, today, heeheehe

a mild mannered man who yearns for a "Mini", folks around town just call him Bumper, Why? you ask,,,,well he just travels from coast to coast and gets bumped and then he is off again, watch for man at a coast near you.

I picked up a copy of "Playboy" at a yardsale, I had not seen one in years and I wondered if anything had changed, Well it has, all the girls look like they have been cut out with a cookie cutter, way to plastic for me, but there was this very sexy fold out section, and it made me think of Bumper.
just like the famous center girl, there in Playboy was a fold out of the "Mini" and I must admit, she did look nice, Bumper you ought to look for the copy, if just for the ads....Damn, I must be getting old, and what woman would believe that Bumper was buying a back issue of Playboy just for and ad?

Life is weird and then you find Arlonet.

Ceashel/Cliffite hospitality is world-class...!
The full effect is best felt, immed. after circumnavigating Houston......and, if you warped your flute, or popped a string on your lute, or wanna share some fruit..step into the 18th century in Cliffite's shop....!
...(in my best Bill Murray voice..) aaalllright, c'mon now, kiddies..how many of you checked Arlo's job announcement, huh...? tell me now...you did, didn't ya, hmmm? c'mon now...'fess up....yea, you did.....me too...!

headed back to Ft Lauderdale, aug 19th to pick up stuff stored, there...
Cea/Cliffite, can you handle another encounter of the Bumper-kind around the 25th of Aug....?lemme know, ok?
I'll check in here, more often, now, I've been neglectful,...baaaad Bumper..!
Hi Ann & SLG, howzit?

Arnie graphically up-chucked on me, in his July 10 post...now, whooda thunk that was even possible, 10 years ago...! the world is a strange & wonderous place....

I'm looking forward to the CAL Gov re-call..ort, my sub-title...
pushing the twiddle-dee-dee/dee dum envelope
I think Maria Schriver outta run, now, against Ahhhnowld, maybe she can even claim to be a "Man-izer"..I mean if Arianna Huffington can claim to be a "born-again independent-populist" anything at all is possible......
