You can add Erma Bombeck, the comumnist. Her birthday is 2/21 same as mine, but I'm not sure of the year.

My bet would be that one out of every twelve might fall into this group, of course it's surprising that Pat can not remember what year she was born in, but it has been a very long time I guess.

Nathen,
Well, yes I do remember the year I was born (actually I don't REMEMBER it, being very young at the time, but it's on several important documents in my life) I actually didn't recall the year of Erma's birth, but, being the Librarian that I am, I researched it and in a couple of clicks found that Erma was born on February 21, 1927. She's also a fellow Ohioan, having grown up in Dayton. She wrote a newspaper column "At Wit's End" and several best-selling humor books. Any questions, check out this site: http://www.ermamuseum.org/home.asp

Wow Pat Rainey what a small world! My sister Liz & her husband Samba Rao live in Dayton. Hard gal to keep track of. First it was Syracuse, then Chicago Ill., then Milwaukee Wisconcon. She's now settled in Dayton. I pray she likes it....

Yeah N8, it was a very long time. I do believe he was in the red. As myself!!!

Hey, RB!
We're in Medina, about 30 miles south of Cleveland, so it's quite a hike to Dayton from here, but you know, Ohio's the Heart of it ALL

Back in 93 we went to see Arlo in Dayton & Cuyahoga Falls. I learned quickly that Cleveland doesn't just rocks it gets 32 degrees at nite in August there LOL! I can still remember Arlo singing in 32 degrees outside with breath coming out of his mouth. Dayton was a real hoot too! Canal St Tavern...

I forgot to mention 'Kurt Cobain'. And yes Pat, Ohio has the R & R hall of fame. Gotta be a cool town!

I wish I had the url, but the best artwork I've seen in over a decade was on Rolling Stone mag. a few months back. (if I say months it's probly a yr.) Anyhow they got the baby that was in the pool (cover Art for 'NIRVANA'S NEVERMIND') and there was this one dollar bill, hooked to a fish hook & line. They got the very same model, only he's 10 yrs. old now, and they changed the one dollar bill, to a ten dollar bill. Who says nothing good comes out of suicide???

Altho that wouldn't be my route! Look what happened to Dr. Keurvorkian. Altho I see his gestures as sincere, and not a mass murderer.

The Health care system is in crisis. Sick people get depressed (one of lifes worst maladys) and they think it's the end. If we had more Guthrie Centers out there, we could provide a lil laughter & hope, to these people (not to quote Sara) that are "Warehoused away"!

Thoughts for the moment.

Hi Rob,
My son Paul-Artist/Muscian is a Pieces 2/24.
I saw your comment on the other thread... First sign of a Pieces is quick to accuse... and thought if Paul has a fault (and of course as him Mom, I sincerely doubt that he does) it's exactly that!!! He's otherwise very quiet, with a terrific sense of humor if he's comfy in his surroundings. He'd rather listen to people than talk. Avid reader, gifted artist and musician, very sensitive but stubborn as a mule (which I blame totally on his biological father ha ha so it may not be a Pieces thing) Does any of that sound like a typical Pieces? Im curious. Im forever trying to understand him.

He will be quite thrilled at the list you put together. (Kurt Cobain particularly - My son went thru his green cardigan, bleach blonde phase in the 90's - he already has the hungry muscian look/blue eyes - he loved when people told him he looked like Cobain)

Anyway, based on your list, you and Paul, I think there are some really terrific Pieces people out there!!!

PS - JC and I went to the RR Hall of Fame on Sept 16, 2001 as an refuge (in our heads and hearts) from NYC and 9/11. The Hall of Fame is something that should not be missed!!! We walked around it for 7 hours...soaking in the music and the history...it was awesome. The time flew and we didn't get enough...went back the next day for another 4 hours. It helped the healing of the time so much.
I went back with Viv, while we were at the May 4th memorial at Kent last year. (which is something that I can't describe without getting emotional.) Anyone who can get out there, should also experience it. It was life changing (enhancing).

Reg,
I'm not taking classes this Semester, but I had thought of going out to KSU on May 4. If you are ever in Northeast Ohio, please give us a call--email me for details.

Reg I'm sorry I didn't notice this post sooner!

*Yes, your son sounds like a typical pices...(I hate spelling that word. It never looks right) lol

I have learned tho, NOT, to take the 'Astrology' to much to heart. Altho the basic's are very much there! (never met a pices that wasn't quick to accuse)

Ex...(please don't laugh) When I wake up & don't find my reading glasses, someone stole them. It's usually my black cat Zabrina has knocked them under the couch. Or my tool (remember the one that somebody stole) is usually right where I left it last! lol... I just have learned I find stuff quicker when I bitch about it for awhile. Seems if I bitch long enough, I find what I'm looking for. Not perfect acceptable behavior, but none-the-less it works for me....????

Pices are a talented bunch. Altho I know in my own life, I'm sorta good at lots of things. Which I'm not complaining. I'd just like to be really good at one thing for a change, but have learned to cope...ral...

I hope to see you & JohnC on the 18th. Not sure how far I can actually walk??? Drs. say a mile a day. But it depends on the day...

So lets start the chant early!!! NO RAIN, NO RAIN

Lots of love
Your's truly/rlb

P.S. e-mail me

As a long-time Pisces, I resemble those remarks.

Amen! I can relate to being "kind of good" at lots of stuff, but not "really good" at any one thing. But that never stops me from taking up a new hobby--who knows, maybe the next thing will be the one I'm "really good" at!!
