Dear Editor:

Your recent story was not up to the high standard of News expected of your fine gnus paper.

I really think that maybe pictures or at least a little more sex might make the gnus more interesting to read.

Thank You
a faithful reader in Tn.

Dear Editor:

Yesterday the state of Tennessee had both Bush the Elder and Bush baby as visitors and while here the Bush baby said:

"There's an old saying in Tennessee. I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee. It says fool me once... shame on... uh... shame on... you. Fool me can't get fooled again!"

Now I do not know what this man was trying to prove but I think that the statement speaks for it's self, If he can get these facts so confused, are we to accept his statements regarding Iraq?

by the way, in case there is anyone who does not know the quote, it is:

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice,
Shame on me.

I think it was an old saying back before the country got started and not a Tennessee thing at all.

yours truly
shamed in Tennessee

The man is obviously confused... maybe he inhaled at a Who concert: "Won't get fooled again"?

Bush does show signs of not only a disturbing lack of intellect, but of
dyslexia as well. So if he does decide to bomb Bagdad and Iraq, I think that people in Boston and Iowa should seek cover.
Perhaps some award winning backwoods folk artist should whomp that boy upside his head with a hand carved walking stick??? I mean it MIGHT jar something loose???

The Editor.

Dear Editor:

It is a sad comment on the state of affairs when our President is best quoted in the comic pages instead of the front page, I am not saying it should be otherwise, but at least with Clinton, We could laugh without being just a little scared.

Your faithful servent

Mr Stickman

Dear Mr. Stickman'

I Agree. Morals often come into question when we talk about public officials. Obviously, love him or hate him, Bill Clinton had some serious personal moral issues. Those issues probably cost Al Gore the whitehouse. However, I believe that Bill Clinton had very strong public policy morals. I find it very ironic however, that many of Bill's opposition seem to play the personal morals card, but at the same time have what I may percieve to be much lower public policy morals. And alas, we sit here watching them point fingers at each other. But at the end of the day, when it's time to chose one set of morals over the other, which will have a bigger impact on more people? The choice, although perhaps for many a reluctant choice, seems obvious.

The Editor.

Dear Editor:

I feel that it is important for our President to have a clear head when making policy. Now I do not know about others but I find that having sexual relations with an intern to be a much better idea then to have several generals over for coffee. Perhaps what this country needs is another Monica in the White House, for to quote a movie I once saw, " That white boy is more in need of a !@%&**(! then any other white man I have ever seen".

I am just a stickman but I think having the world over for coffee might be a good idea, you know just to get to know them a little better.

Yours Truly
Nathen

I totally agree! But then there's all the stupid questions that get in the way, like who sits at what table, regular or decaf, cream or sugar, Maybe an ill-planned get-together is what started all these problems in the first place??!!??

Someone just told me the other day that Clinton was a good president except for his having sex with interns.

Good heavens child! I think you have just had an epiphany!!! Sit down, put your head between your legs and breath slowly into a paper bag, take two asprins , call Dr. Ruth in the morning, put your left leg in, take your left leg out and shake it all about, say four Hail Homers, and by the grace of God, you can get through this!!!!

The Editor.

(Editors note: Better one willing intern, than all of us!)

Dear Editor:

This paper seems to be coming out every day, don't you think I have better things to do then to read it? Why not condense the news and digest it down to once a week or so.

Nathen, I believe the editor is just looking after your best interests. After all, if you're going to be in the woods so much and won't have access to the nice store-bought stuff, he probably figgered you needed as much gnus paper as you could get. (Or do you prefer the Sears catalog??)

Weren't we complaining a couple of weeks ago that the gnuspaper didn't come out often enough? Poor Mr. Editor is going to get a headache trying to figure out what to do.
