It's funny I missed this one. I used to like living like that once. (adg) Yeah, that'd be a long story.

*I always wondered why a thread like this would be good. But when ya got your feet stuck, it's not always fun remembering.

one of the coolest Hippy's I ever met once told me. I asked him "Richard, describe yourself being a hippy, if you would please. Ya know, in your own words". (this dude is still around. Hippy Dick sorta stuck. An import from Boston to my area. Found some land for sale real cheap in North Ny) Let's just say his Colledge degrees didn't fit him.

*Anyhow he explained that imagine living the life of an Indian. Mostly like that. Never take more from the land than what you give back. Act like your retired at any age. (but stay busy) Eat when your hungry. Stuff like that. It sorta made sence at the time. I know he's still living that lifestyle. Instead of riding a horse, he's driving a Reliant. You'll find him down at his favorite watering hole most days.

**I think he did have a point. Indians were the first Hippie's....?

i think the local hippies thought my mom was the neighborhood witch doctor.

as for the rest of the neighborhood...what a zoo!
