Saturday
Fri Jun 28, 4:07 PM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush ( news - web sites) said on Friday he will undergo
a routine colon test on Saturday that will require him to be sedated and that he will transfer
power briefly to Vice President Dick Cheney ( news - web sites).

Bush said he had no signs or symptoms of illness but that the last time he had a colonoscopy
five or six years ago some benign polyps were discovered.

"This is a routine physical examination that will be done at Camp David," Bush told reporters
as he prepared to leave for his presidential retreat for the weekend.

i understand there's already a line outside the door of camp david, of volunteers to perform the procedure!
And of course, the VP will be in a Secure Location... just in case the Pres decides that what's good enuf for him, is good enuf for the VP!!

You do know that with Dubya having anything inserted into his anus for such a test, there is real danger of this colonoscopy turning into a lobotomy!

Is it just me, or can anyone else see Dubya "cramming" all night for this colon test with a pile of Cliff Notes?

I have no idea whether things will be any different or not but Dubya seems to think nothing special will happen while Cheney's taking over.
