This looked like a great escape of all the mindless people who take up your day, asking questions, picking thier nose, telling you just how to make your home more comfortable, and pretty, and how to make your kids get better grades, without even gaining a pound thread! Doesn't it bother you when people cut you off in traffic, and then have the nerve to slow down, so that in the long run your ahead of them, and then you go to the super market, and get in the small line, just to find out this lady has coupons, that don't even belong to whatever it is she's buying, and on top of that she writes a check to pay for the stuff, but her check bounces, so you have to wait anyway.

Then there's the wait at the drugstore, counting these little pills, that hubba-da- buba dubya what in the hell am I sane for!

Hi all. I've added a survey to my Web page all about Aggravations. As you will see if you take it... not to many people have taken it. Could use all the help I can get-- and it should be fun:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=9424107689

Also, if you've got any ideas on how to make my aggravations page something people might actually go to-- any content I can add? (That takes not so much maintenence) Let me know. I tried a message board, but it didn't work.

Took, it Laura. That was fun. What else do you have for us to do? <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

Lauralee, I took it; it was a good adrenalin kick-starter for the morning! A few suggestions, since you asked and I am never at a loss for an opinion, especially if it involves publishing:

1. Ask people you know to e-mail the url to people they know. (Who WOULD those people be? <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>) It should get around the globe in about three days. They could also mention it as they chat and post on other sites.

2. Show the book cover large enough that the white type on it can be read.

3. Rename the page something like "What Aggravates YOU?" instead of "Aggravation Survey."

4. Break the survey up into smaller sections, with each section a separate page ending with a "next" button. This would better match the average attention span.

5. Add an introduction, maybe pulled from the book, and also a short concluding paragraph when people view the results. Plug the book in the conclusion.

Again, thanks for a good Monday morning activity! I'm with Pat--what's our next one?

Cool survey. I will take Ceashel's suggestion to heart and email the url to the folks on my list to whom I normally email interesting/fun items I come across.
