I'm not a Billy Ray Cyrus fan, but I do agree with "All gave some, some gave all."

My dad, with his three brothers all fought in WWII. Dad was with the 3-18th Artillery, landed at Normandy a couple days after D-Day and then all the way into Germany. Uncle Bill was a SeaBee in the Pacific, Uncle Lynn was a sailor in the Pacific, and Uncle Paul was a belly gunner on a B-17 in Europe. All came home alive, but also all died a little in the process. My dad went on to fight in Korea. He got Bronze Stars in both theaters. You might have heard the expression, "The 1000 yard stare." Here's a photo of it. That is so neat. My late dad was in WWII. He passed on Memorial day weekend of last yr. Miss you dad.
