Or maybe Hampton Falls. Right around there anyway. I don't do setlists due to not being able to hold the paper far enough away to write it down. Deb does, but she's meandering home from NH today, and I wouldn't expect to hear from her til at least tomorrow.

A great, fun show with some surprises. I mean..it said in the program that there were always a few surprises, but Deb and I were kind of skeptical about that. We didn't expect to be too surprised. We were, though. Arlo's friend Ed Gerhardt was there and joined him to play Gabriel's Mother's Highway..etc.
Sarah is perfecting her storytelling to the point where..well, she's getting as good as Dad in not getting to the point. You have to love that.
Xavier did a real nice set and backed Arlo on the whole show and at the end..the Motorcycle Jam has developed into..well a full scale jam. It's great! People wanted to get it on CD, but you can't...yet. There was more but that's really all I can remember now. Deb will remember the rest, I'm sure.

I can't wait to hear this Motorcycle jam thing... Arlo better play that the next time I see him (in Ocean City would be my guess). It'll then be on CD, and very possibly even ArloNet's pirate radio... I'm getting pretty good at this taping thing so look forward to some new stuff as soon as I get to a show!

Wish I could have been there this weekend though!

He did Alice, too. Will you be having a 25 minute gap in your recording? Image

Well, Nixon's was 18 minutes, but you have to allow for inflation.

Actually. the gap in the Nixon tapes was 18 minutes and 40 seconds. There were various starts and stops on either ends on the "gap" as if to indicate that the material had been erased and recorded a few times. The longest total time of silence between the starts and stops was 18:20. Now - I hope this information will be of interest to those with little faith.

Interesting info hon! Now you can name your next version of ALICES-- "THE NIXON TAPES VERSION" LOL! Sorry I am so late seeing this but the stupid phone co cut us off due to a billing snafu (Not our fault) so I was all of yesterday with no phone, no internet. YUCK! I am so pissed off at the phone co for causing me to miss your new message for a whole day. Your TELEPHONE song is the truth babe! LOL Image

I've always wanted to use the "Telephone" song as the greeting on our answering machine, but my wife won't let me.

You were missed, Cheryl. Give us the name of the phone company, & we'll sue 'em for loss of your messages.
