Started it last nite, took a break after the first 50 pages flew by to post an Arlo reference on page 43...

...I couldn't resist one quick survey before ducking under the chain, but the courtyard was entirely mine. Somewhere distant, like a sound heard in a dream, I could again hear that low diesel wuff-chuff. It called to mind another line from another song: This train has got the disappering railroad blues...

Much like in Kesey's Sometimes A Great Notion, he uses music to help you feel. I had to go to sleep after page 107. Its sad that there are only 742 pages left. More info posted in the current event section.
