I missed it too, but I'll try and catch it tomorrow; my local NPR station repeats PHC on Sunday afternoon.

Cheryl, I hope you're ok; heard some tornadoes went through parts of VA not long ago.

For his encore he played a great version of City Of New Orleans with the PHC Band backing him up. It seemed like it had a faster tempo.

Right after Prairie Home Companion on Saturday evening came American Routes with Nick Spitzer. The show this week was a two-hour celebration of Woody's 100th. It is available to stream in the archives at http://americanroutes.wwno.org/archive/

Thanks for the info ya'll and the tornado vibes. We had storm warnings but thankfully no tornado got us. We did have bad storms tho. I hope Sue and the folks in MD are okay. I hear they had bad storms there.

I live in Germany and listened to the podcast over the weekend.
The 2 men I miss the most over here: Arlo and Garrison! Great combo.
Abso-tively fantastic show!
I had tears in my eyes during the songs - just beautiful.
And Arlo, what a radio actor! "This land is my land. That land is your land."

Right on Kevin. We are on the same wavelength here. We listen to PHC every Saturday night.
Arlo was on a re-run compilation just a few weeks before too.
