I turned on Folk Village (XM satellite radio ch. 15) at lunch today and spent a wonderful hour listening to Arlo introduce and tell a little story about every song on the album (32 cents) track by beautiful track. My favorite story was about the letter John Steinbeck wrote to Woody after hearing his song, "Tom Joad": "You little bastard......you captured in 12 verses what it took me an entire novel to do!"

I was just checking around, and the "32 cents" with Arlo's song by song commentary that I mentioned in the last post will be rebroadcast on Friday, Feb. 20 at midnight, ET. (XM Satellite Radio---"The Village"--- Channel 15). If you don't get XM Radio now, I believe you can sign up for a free 2 week trial......you can get it to broadcast on your computer.
