Jackie wont be making the coffee but she will still be enjoying it with you. You will know she is there and for more than just the coffee.

Our heart goes out to you, Arlo, and your family.
We visited the church once, our daughter "Rosalie" ran out back when we noticed your
pickup truck pull in. She gave you photos of her in her panties, photo of my VW Beetle with Lucy painted on the side door, Rose had watched " Alices Restaurant" many times at the age 0f 10.
On the way out Rose was given one of your harmonicas, " for anyone that had watched the movie as many times as she had"
We are sincerely sad for the loss of your wife, stay strong Arlo . THe world needs people like Arlo Guthrie !

Words seem inadequate. We're sharing your loss, and thinking of you and the family.

Brother...there are no words.
It was our pleasure to meet you both in a Sebastian restaraunt a while back...
I said thank you then. Live in the day..your family will be your strength.
Love ya man.

Arlo,
43 years of LOVE. Fortunate lives indeed. Such a spirit has no end.

Your music and humor run through my life like a current.
When my dad and I couldn't agree on anything else we'd listen to AG, laugh and move on.

Thanks for everything my friend.
Jeff

I remember seeing Jackie at Carnegie Hall after Thanksgiving each year. I watched for her and will miss her this year. I know you will be lonely for some time. My husband passed away 3 years ago and it's just now that I can look at his picture and smile. I think of him each day and at stressful times I feel his presence as if he is helping hold me up. Your relationship sounded much like mine.
I will think of you and hope she will be with you for all your days.

Arlo, you and your music have been with me most of my life. I've always prayed for you. Your music so moved me. I always wondered what Jackie was like, and only saw one picture of her. Your post says it all. Thanks for staying together. I'll be listening to you sing and play for a while, my way of honoring you both.
