Silly Coyote; they didn't have "dipping sauce" back then. It was bound to be White Mystery Meat, dry.

I once asked Arlo what the heck he was talkin' about with the chicken. He said it was the airline food.

So, I'm guessing the "could we ever feel much finer part" is sarcastic? :? I suppose it is, no matter how you look at it (chicken or chickens). I just never really thought about it.

The term "chicken" is used by drug dealers to describe kilos of cocaine.....

Arlo is high on the plane from cocaine use. It has nothing to do with turbulance, bad food or actual chickens.

Thanks!

And thanks to you for giving life to a 10-yo thread (except I don't think you have the right take on this).

Well, as long as this thread has been resurrected, I notice that someone wanted to know about the "keys" a few posts back.

Of course, "key" was a slang term for "kilo," the standard measurement for marijuana and other "illegal substances." "A couple of keys" would be arond 5 lbs.

Maybe the folkslinger will check in from Sebastian before he hits the road again to enlighten us about the chickens.

Stuff the chicken! It was just a wee tasty free-range song of songs that a young guy floated into. What kind of perception Arlo was or wasn't having on whatever Plane at the time got nothin to do with some history of the wicked chicken flying around him. I'd like the song even if i was a vegan - even if i was stoned....even if......

Nice one mikey - nice story Arlo.
