I have been a lifelong fan of the classic 1981 Donkey Kong arcade game for most of my life. I have been a fan of Arlo's for nearly as long.

Tonight at work, I was goofing off playing a round or three of Donkey Kong on the office computer and when I completed a board, the familiar victory tune, that I have heard a million and one times, played and my co-worker started singing along with it, "...at Alice's Restaurant..."

I couldn't believe it. He was right. The tune played in that game is the melody to Alice.

I still can't believe that for as long as I have been playing this game, I NEVER noticed it. Has this ever come up in the forums? Has anyone else ever caught this? Does ARLO know his song was used in this game for the last 34 years?

You're right! I haven't played that game in 30+ years but I'm surprised I didn't notice that, either.

I bought Arlo Pixels for Christmas and the last game they have to play is Donkey Kong, when I show him your clip he'll love it.
