Toshi Seeger, Pete's wife, passed away on July 9th at age 91. Pete and Toshi would have been married seventy years on July 20, 2013.

i am sorry to hear this.....

i did get to meet her. we sat on the same bench. i turned and smiled at her, and she turned and smiled back.

I think that was the interaction many of us had with her...
I always remember one time i bumped into her and Pete coming out of the Carnegie stage door after a Thanksgiving performance, and she was just busy directing Pete and making sure he was sufficiently protected from the November winds of the city... She took good care of Pete while doing good on her own.
