Just saw that Doc Watson passed. So sorry to hear about him. I saw him in concert once, It was at a show in DC that Arlo was at some yrs ago. They had different acts on the bill. Glad I got to see him live, He was good. RIP.

Sad news. But what a legacy of music, stories and unforgetable performances he left us with! I was fortunate enough to see him perform about a dozen times, and once received a quick impromptu lesson after a show around '78 at a small venue in Tallahassee - he showed me the chords and strumming pattern for "Darlin' Corey." You made the world a better place Doc!

I saw Doc a few times over the years. Probably the weirdest was with Townes Van Zandt. Doc and Guy Clark came out after the show and just hung around for awhile talking about all kind stuff. What a great man!
