Hi I hope you guys can cheer me up. I live in Oklahoma and I really really really want to go to the Clearwatter festival. Better yet, I want to volinteer. My family's money situation is tight and They wouldn't be able to take me there. I hope you guys can cheer me up because I also wanted to meet Pete seeger.

Don't know if I can cheer you up, but I flew all the way from Denmark to get to this festival and it was worth every penny (didn't use pennies though, but Danish crowns). A most notable quality of the festival, besides the energy in the air was peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail (it's the little details that distinguish a 4 from a 5 star hotel, and that is the case here.) Not only did I get to see Pete Seeger for the first (and second) time, but, just before he appeared during Arlo's set, my wife said "LOOK!" - and the fireflies had just turned on their love lights, and the was the other thing I wanted mostest to see (hadn't seen them since I was a kid in Indiana).

Yeah, like the details I referred to - instead of putting up signs (that pointed to where activities were) by tacking or stapling them to trees, I talked with this lady who had made a system of thick boards with holes bored through sideways so that rope could go through to tie them to the trunk and signs were then stapled/tacked to the boards, not the tree - and, yeah, there was a lot of good music also!
