Lets all get stoned or maybe once upon a time......

We know what it is, what it does and who took it. So, should it be legalised across the world (for Adults only) and what would be the effect, positive or negative?

Don't really want to get into a long debate but I think the real reason it hasn't been legalized is because of how difficult it would be for the government to collect the tax from it, as it is so easy to grow your own.

Cannabis can in many ways be argued for or against in the same manner as Alcohol. If taken in limited measures for occasional recreational purposes by ( in scientific context ) those whose brain development has been completed, ie those over the age of 18-21, there isn't any difference in the damage it imparts as alcohol.

Some say that grass is getting stronger and long term use changes the function of the brain and can cause mantle illness. But again, occasional - recreational - in moderation.

So, smoke a mild weed You wouldn't necessarily become ill from having the occasional beer, unless you had a pre disposition to.

But the odd Whisky won't do you much harm either, again unless you had a pre- disposition to.

Just don't go smoking yourself into oblivion or drinking your self into a stupor, and the rest of us can enjoy a trip to the sky to dance beneath a diamond sky with one hand waving free of a weekend

If they could get the tax worked out the Feds would probably discover some 'health' reason or other for legalising and the rest of the civilised world would follow. Imagine a world of adults where the 'demon drink' was replaced by the green green grass of home? I believe cannabis should be legalised for adults while at the same time the 'book' should be thrown at those who peddle or even give same to our young people. Or if not perhaps when folks become OAPs (Arlo included) they would be eligible for a Government Weed Grant!

I suppose when you consume (too) much of the weed you get stoned but usually the peaceable flower child in bliss is....
I suppose when you consume (too) much of the drink you get drunk and usually the depressed/suppressed crap comes to the fore and you may even want to stone someone else!
