She did a good job getting the message out re abrupt climate change and I think she is also a part of the Extinction Rebellion group.
Prof. Jem Bendell did an excellent paper on our near future demise re collapse of civilisation. Dr. Guy McPherson as well as "arctic-news.blog" give lots more information.

Abrupt climate change is here and with it comes collapse of our societies.
