Who would have thought Roberts would be the one to save it. Kennedy was always considered the "moderate" on the court. And yet he sided with Scalia.

I'm not sure if it is a good idea or a bad one. What I was hoping for really was sweeping reform of the insurance industry. The subject of healthcare is a personal one with me as I have been dealing with hereditary disease called Hemochromatosis for over two years now. Unfortunately it wasn't diagnosed until my liver had given me problems. But enough of that. Over the past twenty years or so I have noticed my out of pocket health insurance cost get way out of control to the point where I have had to negotiate a payment schedule to pay for services and this is just for standard routine test. Bottom line health insurance doesn't cover like it used to. I didn't ask for my disease, my ancestors handed it down to me but I feel like I am being punished for it. I keep hearing about death panels. Seems to me the health insurance companies had that racket sewed up years ago. Again I still would like to have seen an investigation into inflated health cost, and then a path to reform. On a final note I would really like my doctor to remove those sailing boat magazines with the expensive boat pictures from the waiting rooms.....

I am with EPR on this one. I do appreciate the effort and it is possibly a step in the right direction but there is still too many money filters between paying for health insurance and getting health benefits. I guess if efficient transparent use of health care funds is socialism, then call me a socialist!
