Wow! Cuz you know that 23 + 19=42, and 4-2=2, 2 squared=4........and guess what 23-19 equals? Hmmmmmm? Are you following me so far? OK. Now, 2+3=5, and 1+9=10, and 10 is twice the value of 5. 5+10=15, and what do you get when you subtract 4 from 19? See the divine pattern here? Now if you add your age to the value of any of the sums above, you'll get another number. Divide it by 2, then add the 5, then divide it again by 2, and then by four, then add the combined ages of your brothers, and then divide that number by the sum of the numbers you have gotten so far, but only the ones that are prime numbers. That will give you another number which, when multiplied by the number of leap years every century, and then divided by the number of seconds in 42 months squared, times the length of Alice's Restaurant in minutes and seconds will provide you with an extremely significant and magical number. What does this number mean? If you have gotten this far in your calculations, it means that you are probably pretty mad at me for wasting your precious time. But that means different things depending on whether or not we are existing at this moment in Celery Time. Cuz if we are, we haven't actually wasted any time at all yet. So you might have been mad at me before, or will be mad at me later, but right this second everthing is totally cool!!! 8) Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it, or rather, I will appreciate it either later on or a while ago........ :roll: :P :D

You could have stopped at 23+19=42. 42 is the answer to life and everything.

^Welcome young person. Don't mind us "Oldies" too much.

The arrow of time has a way of affecting all it pierces.

Kevin, wouldn't it be more true to say...

S=K.logW

I think. Sometimes.

Probably. And hardly anything meaning would be changed, cuz I still wouldn't know what I'm talkin' about. These things are more feeling than substance. Actually, I was just razzin' the new kid. She sounds both tough and astute. Shadowdancer, it is refreshing to have you here; I was sincere about being proud of your brothers, and now it's your turn. As Doug said, don't mind us "oldies" too much.

My name is Wyndchyme. I am proud to say that I am Shadowdancer's mom. Also A & C's. they are homeschooled & as a result they have their own minds. They saw all that was going on & chose their own paths. I am an old protester from way back,but, am glad to see many youngers taking up the challenge. It's a tough world today & I hope it will ease some because the kids of today are standing up & speaking their frustrations. remember loud & proud!

Wc,
You should be very proud of all three. Great parents are a blessing. And your kids should be proud of you too.

Kevin, I did not mean to be offensive. That formula shows how in theory all time, past, present and future all exist at the same time. We see time flowing in only one direction, and our arrow has been in flight for quite some time now. Talk about not knowing what I'm going on about. True dat!

Offensive never crossed my mind Doug. I just really liked the image that your arrow quote evoked in my mind. And I also have believed that time is not linear for many years. I probably started thinking this way after reading Vonnegut (Sirens of Titan, Slaughterhouse Five) as a teenager. Really, I was just jivin' Moonshadow as a way of welcoming her - Blunderite style. Since Larry hasn't been around much lately, I've felt the need to fill in as interim keeper of smartass-isms :D
