Please - my brain is dead....There is a song that Arlo does...its about being grateful for friends. It pops up on my CD's every so often, and I love it. I dont THINK its a real old song, but Im not sure. Please let me know - It's like getting a song stuck in your head - but not. Thanks - Reg Im remembering words like learning, growing etc.

Reg, I suspect you're confusing Arlo with Pete Seeger. Judging by the lyrics supplied, I'm guessing the song you're looking for is "Wonderful Friends," written by Pete and Lorre Wyatt. The song appears on the CD Pete Seeger at 89 (Appleseed).

Hank - Your the man!!! Thank you very much. My face is a bit red  but ya know I love Pete - and of course Pete at 89 is a constant in my car. You are very correct.

I'm so glad I didnt ask Arlo when I saw him - although it's not bad to be mistaken for a genious like Pete. But I'm afraid he would have pointed out -"I know MY friends songs!" LOL

My neice has promised to learn a song and sing it for me on my birthday next year. This is the one I wanted....now I can send it up to her.

Thank you so much for answering. See you down the road somewhere!!!
Reg (and JohnC said Hi)
