Bartholomew Liam Raymond Wilson, a.k.a. Barley Beagle, has attended his last tailgate gathering. He had a heart attack at 9 years of age, and has joined the other BlunderPets who are waiting for us to join them. Barley is not a dog who will “rest in peace”; he’s probably trying St. Peter’s patience already. What a sweet, lovable, and ebullient guy!

John and Regina asked us to let you know about Barley, and also tell you that they will not have Internet access for the next week. They will see this thread when they regain Internet access, and in the meantime, I know they’ll feel the Blundervibes we all send their way.

I was so sorry to hear about Barley! He was my little buddy! Pets are such treasured members of the family, and such loving friends. Sending lots of love and vibes to Regina and John.

I didn't know Barley, but I've certainly had to say goodbye to plenty of my own dogs, cats, and horses. I like to believe that in the hereafter, we'll all be reunited with our former pets. Blundervibes to those who loved Barley Beagle.

Well, maybe he was not always good, but that was part of his charm. What a loveable little guy!

Losing a dog is losing a family member.......my extreme condolences. Never got to meet Barley, but it sounds like he was loved and popular. Sometimes I want to kill my dogs for stuff that they do, but then again, I remember sometimes wanting to kill my children  Figuratively, of course

Thoughts to Regina and John, it's so sad when our pets are no longer with us.

My thoughts are with Regina and John. Some of my closest friends have been of the canine persuasion. I sincerely believe that humans are undeserving of their unconditional love and loyalty. They are here among us for such a short period of time (far too short) but live that time to the fullest and give us so much more than we could possibly give back to them.
