Happy Hanukkah and Happy Birthday, Pat!

It seems appropriate to me that the beginning of the Festival of Lights and Pat's birthday coincide this year. Pat has been a source of intellectual and political enlightenment to me for quite a while. Not around here so much in the last few years because of "life stuff," she may not be familiar to some, but Pat had a lot to do with the early days around here (and before), and her wisdom is a large part of what drew me in.
