I do the same thing as House. It drove my chemotherapists nuts.

Thanks rob. i'm getting better. The antibiotics are taking hold and the hydrocodone is... coddling me.

Got called into work anyway. Got a LOT of stuff I have to do this weekend. The cherry though is a duet I sing at church on Sunday and lead the congregation in the hymms. These folks bring me things to sing that are simply gorgeous and feel wonderful. That raises my mood level a few quantum shells higher. This time, it's a high part (pitch) so falsetto country and those parts are ecstatic. Might as well join the Vienna Boyz Koir.

Len that's kinda funny. Sorta reminds me of a cover band I saw once, long time ago. I asked him how he got his voice so high, as to immitate Neil Young. And he said ( jokingly ) that he paid a guy, $5.00 to kick him in the balls, just minutes before he went on....

Sounded to me you've been thru the ringer Len. Always remember I keep you' all in my prayers. Sorta a 'Pay it Forward'. I'll never forget people sticking by my side, in my time of need. And not to recipocate would be self centered. I wish (pray) you nuthin but healing vibes, and good days ahead.... As you know my friend, it's a long road. God willing we'll get there!

Sincerely/ RB

* hang in there, and great luck with the singing.

A cold bucket of water helps. If I were in Sue's part of the world, I could just step out on the front lawn. 35 inches of snow!!! Wow!!

So far so far. I'm pain free mostly and I'll make it to Monday. Not real productive because pain killer and mind killer are synonymous.

That means I'm in the perfect state of mindlessness to watch this redhead on Fox talking from Nashville. Whatta doozy. Boop poop be doop!

Whatta ya practicing on the axe, Rob?

Good to hear about the pain free part. Anything to do with pain and teeth is the worst! About the worst pain I can remember was (years ago) having two abscessed teeth at the same time (over the weekend) and no pain killers ("Marathon Man" flashback).

Maybe you could try writing Poe type short stories this weekend. Wasn't he on opiates and alcohol most of the time?

Zap your right. Maybe some Poe type songs/ got a tad case of insomnia. A side effect of the new med, that is supposed to wear off in time. / I have a hard time with pharmaceuticals. I tend to go the other way. Things that are supposed to make you tired keep me up, visa versa. / I was bummed when a Dr. explained I couldn't take anti-depressants, as they'd make me more depressed.

Hopefully at the end stage of my recovery I can get off everything. I believe that'd be a nice feeling. To be totally off all meds, for say at least 6 mnths. Then spark up a doobie, as I don't consider grass to be a drug.... Just an herb....... Probly be paranoid as a fish outta water for awhile, but I'd like to try it....

Wish me luck.... LOL

RB

Wonder if you could qualify for legal medical pot? That might help. We got the snow too but not as bad as Sue. Still won't be going to church today as we can't get out as the roads are bad...

Yeah Rob, pharmacuticals are miracles for millions of people. But I've had the same experiences you mentioned about up-things taking me down, and down-things taking me up. It's an emancipating experience to not have to carry an extra bag around just for all the meds. For blood pressure and cholesterol alone I've gotta take 5 pills every morning. Plus all the wild supplements I take......pills to keep me alive, and pills to keep me from killin' someone else

Posted twice? That's a relief! I thought I'd gone vertically cross-eyed!
