AUSOME NEWS!!!!!!! I DID get accepted at SUNY ( State University of New York ) for the 2009 Fall semester....

I did however get accepted on a conditional basis....

#1. You are restricted from entering/living in the residence halls, and campus-operated housing while a student at SUNY Canton.

#2. Your required to schedule to meet with Melinda Miller, Director of Couciling, Campus Center, Room 225 for counceling support.

#3. You will be on compus for classes and academic support only.

#4. Any violation of the lalw will result in immediate suspension.

#5. You will be on disciplinary probation.

#6. You will have no involvenment with outside campus activities.

#7. You will abide by all sapects of SUNY Canton's Code of Student Conduct.

#8. You will abide by all penal codes.

#9. If you fail to comply with this agreement, the college reserves the right to terminate your attendance.

The aggeement is made with the assumption that you will have no problems with law enforcement prior to classes starting. If you have any issues with law enforcement that result in your arrest, your acceptance will be rescinded.

I wish you the best of luck with future educational courses.

Sincerely,

Cori Wilhelm
Assistant Director of Admissions...

I can deal with these conditions.. NO PROBLEM.... Walking down that center road, as my great friend from Providence R.I. William Sargeant told me about. Rob, there's a road to the right, and there's a road to the left. Both of those roads will lead you astray. But just keep walking on the road in the middle, and trouble won't follow you.... Quote " I've been doing this for yrs. and have managed to stay outta trouble. The times I've veered to the right or left, was always a bad judement call, so I stick to the road in the center...." ( Great advice from my friend Bill)

Here's what I've been doing the last couple three, days, to un-occupy my mind, from what could have been worse...

Ck out my new folder of pics on myspace. entitled, 'New Beginnings'...

Some ausome photo's of my hanging out, in my back yard...

Thanks to all of you that sent out spiritual vibes my way. I'll always appreciate you fine folks here at arlonet. I really believe your prayers, and good vibes, helped orchestrate my way into college.... & I will do everything in my power, not to let you down.... :)

Kind Regards/ Rb

As usual your too kind. Sue and I had a party tonight, celebrating. We had a banner, that read "New Beginnings'

It was a last minute thing, and I'm not usually that good a host at partys' but I really pulled it off, as it was a huge success. Richy ( my guitar partner ) and his band agreed to play... Richy on Lead, Bill Laflair on Bass & lead vocals, and Sue's youngest brother Brian plays drums...

It used to be ego's flaired, and Billy, suggested my playing accoutic numbers in the band, would sorta defeat what they were trying to accomplish... They play old school rock and roll, and heavy metal . Last wk. in Richy's studio, Billy was there, and he actually gave me kudos' as he said he was listening to some of our recordings, and he said I didn't sound bad. You have potential he told me. I took it as a huge compliment...

Yeah, a few of my long haired friends showed. Allot of Sue's family, and co-workers. My cousin Eric was there, and he plays a mean harp, so him, and my brother in law played a few blues numbers.. sounded great.. then they took a break...

& upon returning they called me up... Rob Brown 'Get up her'... I was sorta nervous, but I knew it was inevitable. I now know how it feels to be weak in the knees... I'm prone to stage fright, but I new I couldn't get outta this one... ( 27 people the most I've ever played in front of) My friend Ben taped it, so It'll probly turn up on myspace...

I did allot of songs. They just wouldn't quit.. Richy would say, just one more...

I don't know if there in order but I think they are

1. Ohio
2. 500 Miles
3. Freight Train
4. Rockin in the Free World
5. Mail Myself to you
6. So Long it's Been Good to Know You ( which I dedicated to my friend Brad Jennings )
7. Poncho & Lefty
8. And I close with 'Wild Horses'

What a rush.... The band played a 3 hr. set, and woudn't take any $$$.. They all ate like horses, and drank allot of beer, and they all thanked me, for inviting them over to play.....

Life is really seemingly going my way. I believe it's a reward, from the Gods, for actually working so hard, at so many things. For taking the fortitude, to do something constructive with my life. Everyone seems SO happy Sue and I are on the same page... It was a very heartfelt evening...

And with friends like ya'll.. Life just couldn't be better!

God-Bless/ RB

Tx again, for your continued support!!!

Oh man! AWESOME news Rb !!!

I don't get around here much of late as my PC has a nasty virus that we can't seem to get rid of. I'm stuck on a tiny laptop but I was so hoping that the end of this thread would be with your wonderful news!

Sending great vibes anyway. Have the time of your life Hon!!!
