My faithful companion "Quincy" died on Wed Sept. 3rd. I realize people say "well he was just a dog" But people who love their pets know how it feels. Wev'e been together for 12 and a half years.
I miss him so much, a part of myself has died as well. I keep looking over to see his funny face or just to reach over at night where he would always be beside me, he wasn't there so I cried myself to sleep, only to go through it all again the next day when you realize it is not a dream or a nightmare, it's just the circle of life.
Condolences to Sue and Leo for their losses, my thoughts are also with you.

GG501, I agree with Diane mc, the feelings of loss are just as valid. Loss is about loss.

Blunderhugs on the way for you and all here who must face the pain of loss.

I know that Quincy was family, just as much as any two-legged can be family (and more than some). And now he's up there romping with my Ginger, Greycie, and Mattie. I'm sure they spotted him as a Blunderite dog immediately.
